The Worship, Music and Arts Committee meets once each month and itsmembers represent the activities of the Music Staff, Altar Guild, acolytes,ushers, greeters and readers.  Our goal is to work with the Pastorin planning meaningful and inspiring worship services throughout the year.We explore various worship styles and music as well as opportunities torelate the social concerns of today with our worship life at Emanuel. Wewelcome input and ideas from the members of the congregation.

The current committee members include Pastor Paul, Jan-Piet Knijff, Eiko Cornelius, Rev. Cliff Somersall, Deacon Lynne Hansen, Nancy Schoener,Paul Meberg, Karen Nurmi, Karen Snowberg and Lynne Beard, Chairperson. Wegenerally meet at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month on AllCommittee Night.

If you sing, if you play and instrument, if you ring bells or if you simply enjoy music in a worship setting, Emanuel has a place for you. Traditionaland contemporary music is part of the regular offering in terms of boththe service settings and the hymns.  An adult choir plus four gradedbell choirs rehearse weekly.  Special music events happen during theyear.  A spirit of joy is reflected in the music. The musicians areall volunteer, coordinated by the Minister of Music and there are manyopportunities to learn and participate.
